Just some tv anime stuff with Spoilers
Hi gang, I just posted my April 09 TV anime ComcastOnDemand viewing guide for the first part of the month. Look for it under files here at EONS/anime-a-holics.

Hey guys and gals- If you have COD then under Top Picks and Premium Channels and Free Movies go to Scene It? Trivia and try out those anime trivia questions. There’s even one for Star Trek fans which reminds me- on Star Trek- The Next Generation who was the Chief Engineer? Starfleet Command was on Earth but where was its HQ?
Let me know how challenging those anime questions seem.
Well it’s Wednesday and no anime on broadcast tv tonight. No more Naruto, Shin Chan, HellGirl or Trigun either. Don’t forget that April 10th is when DragonBall- Evolution opens in selected theatres. Arigatou but I’ll wait for the DVD I think. Goku in high school with Bulma? I think not. Goku was ten or twelve (Naruto’s age) when he first met Bulma Brief who was hunting dragonballs. She was a few years older- 15 or 16 (about Nami’s age in OnePiece) and was on school holiday or something. From what I’ve learned about the DB series (DB, DBZ, DBGT) Akira Toriyama set the series on Earth but not ‘our’ Earth. His ‘Earth’ was a parallel world in a parallel universe much like Dragonland in the kiddy cartoon show Dragon Tales. Goku Son (he takes the name Son when he weds Chi Chi later on) does not even learn he’s a Saiyaan until he’s grown up and married. That’s when his bro, Vegeeta and two other Saiyaans show up. Another thing- did anyone ever keep track of Goku’s ‘deaths’? This guy was killed and resurrected more often than lives in a video game! If Shenron and Porunga (the Eternal Dragons of Earth and Namek respectively) cannot grant the same wish twice they sure found a way around that proviso because Goku was always getting nuked outta existence and kept on coming back again. Like a Timex he ‘takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’ eh?
Remember Julian Sands who voiced Valdor the villain in the old Jackie Chan Adventures? Ever since I saw him in Warlock years back I have wondered where else I had seen him. Well while watching Stargate the Ark of Truth I found out. Julian played the high preist of the Ori whom nobody is sure are either gods, aliens or myths- take your pick.
Another thing- anybody who has seen Saw 1,2,3,4 or 5 (Six coming soon) has seen Tobin Bell. He plays the serial killer John York aka Jigsaw. Why is he so damned familiar? I mean even his voice which is synthesized and sounds like John Lee or Jon Glaser’s voice is strangely familiar to us. Any ideas?
I’ll be blogging Ch 45 of AW soon and it’s short however it does include some football rosters. Aw, that would be telling unless you’ve been following the story.
